Welcome to the iFungo Revolution Page

"Every generation needs a new revolution."
-Thomas Jefferson

If you are reading this you have been invited to play for the new travel team in Indiana, the iFungo Revolution.  This is a new organization built on the idea and concept of accountability, responsibility, and player development.  We are here to develop your sons and make them understand, respect, and learn about the game of baseball.  Here are a couple of key points that the Revolution will be built on:

  • Accountability
    • Making the boys responsible for their own actions and their own playing time
    • The only guarantee is that you child is on the team.  The way he approaches the game will dictate playing time.  The best 9 will start, and the guys on the bench will always see opportunities to get back in the lineup, however it is their job to work harder and show that they want to play.
  • Responsibility
    • Our goal is for the coaches to drive all the players to every tournament.  The players will be responsible for their own equipment, food, and will be responsible for showing up to bus times ON TIME.  If they do not abide by these very simple rules they will not start that game and be left at the hotel or starting point.
    • It is our responsibility as coaches to develop these players into men.  Nothing will be handed to them.  They will have to earn EVERYTHING
  • Development
    • Our goal is to get you better.  There will be offseason workouts.  Team workouts.  If you are playing another sport it is still your job and responsibility to get your work in.  This is not a team for laziness and slackers.  When we have our winter workouts we will be there to work and get better.  Will we have fun?  Of course.  It is your job to learn how to manage both.  We will provide both its your job to prioritize them.
    • We are thinking of playing in 6 tournaments.  Midwest tourneys.  Maybe 1 or 2 big trips.  Since we are only playing in 6 tournaments we will practice a lot.  Does this mean 4 hour workouts?  No.  2 Hours max with max output.  Lots of groundballs.  Lots of fly balls.  LOOOTTTSSSSS OF BP!  They only way to get better is to practice.  The more games you play the less reps you get.  These kids are developing still and need the reps.  They aren’t getting paid to play, yet!
  • Financial
    • Right now our main objective starting Sept. 1st is fundraising.  The more we fundraise the less you have to pay.  If we reach our goal budget, which we are still figuring, by fundraising, you will not have to pay any money.  NO MONEY WILL NEED TO BE REQUIRED IF WE REACH OUR GOALS.  We have a couple fundraisers in mind right now and if you have any other ideas please contact us.  Your hard work should not be taken for granted therefore if we reach our goals no payment will be necessary.
    • If you know of a company interested in sponsoring the Revolution please direct them to our sponsorship page and sponsorships can be purchased through the website.
    • Since everything for the players will be inclusive: hotels, travel, and some food, it will be up to the parents if they want to come and travel or not.  We feel it should be a privilege to play on our team not a burden.  Parents again will be responsible for their own way not their players.
  • Next Level
    • We have teammed up with ShowCaseU.com a website dedicated to Do-it-Yourself Recruiting.  Founded by Jake Chapman(former professional) and Chad Durbin (World Series Champion with Philadelphia in 2008) this do it yourself website allows our players to have full access to college coaches around the nation as well as set up an independant url profile within ShowCaseU to aid in their recruiting process.  We are pleased to be teammed up with ShowCaseU and all of our older teams will be provided a profile compliments of the Revolution.
    • We will be working out of McKinlee Baseball Facility in Indianapolis.  This will provide our players with the best instruction within the state and allow our players to grow and develop.

Every end has a new beginning.  This is our way of developing our kids.  We do not want to bring in any "studs" from other states.  We want our kids to get better.  THIS IS THE REVOLUTION!  Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
